I am Carrie (she/her), your Empowering Educator. I’m an educational, writing, and spiritual consultant, available to support you and/or your community in myriad ways.
I’m a former classroom teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring. I have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and am pursuing my doctorate in Transformative Action in Education. My intention is to dissertate on the topic of white supremacy culture (WSC) in education.
I am a NARM® trained trauma-informed professional, a registered yoga teacher (RYT200), and a social-emotional learning (SEL) facilitator through Breathe for Change. I’m also a tarot practitioner, rune caster, and all around spiritual being.
